713 Thunderbolt

The Air Cadet Program is specific to Canadian youth between ages 12- 18 to develop Leadership qualities and provide the necessary skills to ensure they are contributing members of our community. Proudly, 713 Thunderbolt Squadron has been serving the Greater Hamilton Area since 1961, training youth to be active in the community as productive, responsible citizens.

We provide in house training in leadership, citizenship, instructional technique, public speaking, debating, marksmanship, flying (gliding and power scholarships), canoe instruction, orienteering, and our music program – at no cost to the cadets; as many would not be able to afford these opportunities elsewhere.
